VULKOLLAN® is
a highly elastic cross-linked polyurethane elastomer produced on
the basis
of Desmodur® 15 of Bayer AG. Among the excellent mechanical
characteristics of VULKOLLAN® are:
high dynamic load capacity, higher abrasion and tear resistance
than most other materials;
the highest
modulus of elasticity of all elastomers; excellent mechanical wear
resistance and impact resilience as well as a low compression set.
Furthermore, VULKOLLAN® offers
good chemical resistance to mineral oils and greases and different
solvents. It is specially recommended
for towing applications where load capacity, rebound resilience,
continuous use, speed and durability are mandatory. Therefore VULKOLLAN® is
preferred for drive and load wheels for industrial trucks, AGV's
and in heavy duty material
handling applications.

The use of VULKOLLAN® is
indispensable especially for narrow aisle trucks, industrial
trucks and AGV's where high speed and continuous use is required.

as well as pallet rollers and stabilizing casters for almost

VULKOLLAN® as a tread for press-on
tires, heavy-duty wheels and casters, VULKOLLAN® is
characterized by its multiple durability compared to rubber and
dynamic load capacity which is up to 2.5 times higher. |

Electrically Conductive VULKOLLAN® is
a special non-marking material developed and patented by Rader
Vogel® for discharging electrostatic charges through the
entire tread
in
accordance
with European standards DIN EN 12527 and sqq., the volume resistance
should be less than 10,000 ohms. |

VULKOLLAN® wheels are available
in lower Shore hardnesses (80A, 85A, and 95A) for use whenever
damping for noise reduction and a softer ride are required.
VULKOLLAN® wheels
are provided with 93 Shore A hardness for standard products.
However because of their flexible production capabilities,
Rader Vogel® is able to supply softer durometers (85A)
with better damping
and noise reduction and a softer ride are required. Shore
95A is also available for extreme dynamic applications. |

Special VULKOLLAN® Rollers
with roller body made of steel, direct bonded VULKOLLAN® tread
and with forces-fitted or caulked deep groove ball bearings are produced
in diameters ranging from 40 to 125 mm (1.57 to 4.92 inches) with
load capacities from 55 to 355 kg (121 to 781 lbs.). |
