TRACTOTHAN® is a VULKOLLAN® composite
material developed and patented by Rader Vogel and features the
same characteristics as VULKOLLAN®. In the
new production process designed by Rader Vogel, special TPU granules
are integrated in to
the tread, thereby enhancing the wheel grip and lowering the risk
of sliding.
Thus TRACTOTHAN® improves the starting properties, reduces slip
and boosts the braking effect. Consequently, TRACTOTHAN® is
mainly used for vehicles for in-plant transportation on wet and
soiled floors.
Especially for narrow aisle trucks and industrial trucks, the
use of TRACTOTHAN® is indispensable on fine and smooth floors, but
also on wet and soiled floors. Due to Rader Vogel’s flexible
production, they are in a position to supply almost all drive wheels
of leading manufacturers with TRACTOTHAN® tread.
